Game Thread W4 - Philadelphia V Kansas City (1 Viewer)

Just out of curiosity, how does the NFL "officially" score a fumble like the one on the LJ handoff where he never had control of the ball. It seemed pretty obvious that the fumble was LJ's fault, but I thought I remembered from some point in the past that if the RB never actually had control of the ball, the QB was credited with the fumble.

USUALLY, the last player to have had "possesion" of the ball is given the fumble. I didn't see the play, but if they were in the process of handing the ball off and he got popped, then Green should be tagged with the fumble....

I have to give the Eagles a TON of credit for getting back into this game. This game was destine for a blowout, but the Eagles have hung in there

well. looks like westbrook just got the 2 point conversion. not watching the game though. just through nfl.com

Memo to KC Defensive Coordinator:The Eagles have a guy named Terrell Owens (#81). There's a rumor that he's really good. Please have someone cover him. Geez, cover him at least every third play and I'll be happy. Leaving him wide open on every play might cost your team the game.Thanks.

:goodposting: I actually feel a little nauseous now. I need KC to win this.

You are getting screwed :lmao:

In answer to the earlier question about Westy/Gordon, they have been putting Gordon in and giving him a few carries here and there since they signed him. In watching the game, it seems like KC's defensive gameplan is focused on keeping Westbrook under wraps. I guess they watched last week's game tape. Unfortunately, bottling him up seems to be resulting in TO being wide open all over the field.
