Game Thread W5 - Cincinnati V Baltimore (1 Viewer)

Cheap, cheap and doubly stupid shot by Lewis. Inexcusable from a vet of his experience and relative class. Can't believe the fans are even booing that call.

Another crazy finish for the Bengals - Gus Johnson on the call again - and there is still 22 seconds left - :coffee:

Good game Bengals. You're in 1st place by yourselves. The Ravens made way too many mistakes to win this one.

Bengals are for real. They've beaten both division heavyweights now.

Inspired effort by their defense today.

Bengals have now won four of the last six in Baltimore.

Wow... I guess the Bengals are the NFL's darling this year. The FG was good last week... but this week the refs handed them the game. Chris Henry was out of bounds on his last reception. Harbaugh wanted a challenge but they didn't review it from upstairs... then that PI/holding or whatever that kept the drive alive... wow... The call on Lewis was a good one though.

No, the Raven's handed them the game with the late penalities. Those were all good calls and had it been reversed and the Bengals on the other side...I would have said the same thing. It was a good game and the Ravens had it if they hadn't made those late mistakes.

Mason no cathes ??? did he play?
This has been a common refrain about #1 receivers against the Bengals this year. Probably the most amazing thing about the defense. And how about :eek:2 with another game-winning TD!!!WHO DEY!Past the nitro pills! :pickle: -QG

I said to my wife with about 5 minutes left that I was honestly cool with whatever happened because the Bengals certainly held their own, and frankly outplayed the Ravens so I was cool with it. But you've got to be freaking kidding me!!!!!!! I'll say this, as a Bengals fan, you get your full 60 minutes worth of football.

How about when the ravens receiver fumbled it before his knee touched, Ndukwe recovers it, they reviewed it and still bend the Bengals over?

A good example of justice being served. The Bengals deserved this game.
Indeed, by pretty much every statistical measure, they were the better team yesterday. If it hadn't been for some untimely delay and false start penalties against them, this game may not have had to come down to the final seconds. All of which makes this loss far more disturbing to Ravens fans than the one last week to the Pats. That one was even up and could've gone either way. Yesterday, they flat got outplayed in their own house.

Hey... I know how you feel. It was driving me crazy the people saying the FG was "clearly" no good. But c'mon... was Henry really in on that play? I still have yet to see an angle on that last penalty that shows the Ravens holding or interfering (I recall the guys calling the game in the booth scratching their heads over that one too).I didn't get to see the whole game, but the zebras definitely deserve an assist on that last drive, IMO.
