Game Thread W5 - Detroit V Washington (1 Viewer)

Kitna is killing me today. :wall:
Me tooThe wheels are coming off the Kitna bandwagon IMO. He's been able to miraculously put up some #'s so far but in reality this offense is ugly against anything but the sparest of D's.
Yeah, and I didn't see the cheatsheets marking him a bust this week. {sigh}
This is the first opportunity I've had to watch the Lions... they look like ### to me. A few of his performances this season have seemed a little flukey from what I could tell, last week for instance. I'm not feeling great about Kitna long term. A line would help.

Martz's scheme does not provide for this.

Lions have faced a lot of weak 2ndarys this year. This is the 1st real backfield they've faced and they are who we thought they were..

34-3.I thought the Skins would get beaten soundly. I love being wrong.
Detroit doesn't beat anyone soundly. I figured Washington would win, but that the Lions would keep it close.Then again, that was counting on the Detroit O to show up... ever.

I'm listening to Campbell's press conference live. He said that the 2nd Sellers TD (the reception) was actually a play designed to go to Cooley, and that he simply slid outside to buy time and Sellers found a way to get open as a check down.

Jason Campbell is looking like he was worth the investment right now.

As a Ravens fan, after watching Boller run around like a headless chicken on meth his first few years, I'm a little envious in what the Skins appear to have in Campbell. Very cool under pressure and it'll be interesting to see how he progresses once they take the leash off of him. I think he's going to be a good one.

That trade up with Denver is looking better and better every year. It's starting to look like a journey-man RB, for a franchise QB.
