Ronnie owner here--and one who thinks he is the better player now and for the future--but that isn't totally fair. RW hasn't had many good holes on his opportunities. On the other hand, Brown has broken alot of tackles in the backfield. He doesn't go down on the first hit very often. Brown is better but I wouldn't imply that Ricky sucks.

Miami D forcing Rivers to scramble and move - Rivers has really missed when on the run. As Tasker mentioned the Chargers are seeing a lot of 3rd and 6/8 and it has led to their struggles. Not sure why they are throwing so much after LT had a good run - they need some rhythm.

Not sure the D scheme was all that much to blame - it seemed like the Dolphins wanted to go physical smashmouth - they imposed their strength. If Chargers have their best players like Merriman it may have been different - this was personnel.

Well, if anyone is wondering - it looks like the left side of the Miami OL is the real deal. Scheme or not, those guys were beating SDs guys 1 on 1. Really surprised Jake Long is a good football player right away like this.

Terrible. Everyone sucked today for the bolts. Miami played smart and collegey and SD brought their usual High School tackling. It's going to be a long season for the bolts.

Right...57 total yards against Miami. I'm just trying to stir up nonsense.
They played a base defense the whole 2nd half. No blitzes, no stunt packages, nothing. There are down and distances and ebb and flow that really require a defensive coordinator to roll the dice once in a while. Old Teddy C. just sits back on his fat ### and gives up 5 yards a play.

LT will be garbage for the rest of the year if this is the best he can do against Miami. I guess LT went from No #1 RB to below average RB in a matter of a few months. It is a very sad sight to see. I thought maybe he turned it around after last game. I couldn't have been more wrong.

Sproles wasn't that hot either. We ran a vanilla offense and a vanilla defense and got beat. Favre said after the Jets loss that the SD defense played aggressive and they couldn't handle it. The defense played more aggressive during last week's comeback and sealed the deal. What does Cottrell play all game? Some kind of pseudo-prevent. I agree 100% with you about Cottrell. That guy has to be the worst DC in the game. Actually, I was shocked when SD hired that guy, as he was crap when he was with the Jets too. Why was he hired in the first place? The Chargers ran out of time? Well then he can be Garbage right next to Slaton in my starting lineup. He still got me 10.7 today. 5.7 on yards, 5 on receptions. Maybe they SHOULD give LT a rest for a week or 2 and run Sproles out there, but no way does he lose his job this year. While he might have been good for you, in my league, his point total today averaged out over the year would rank him at about RB 45 in my league.
