Lost power at my house just after my last post, so I missed the last 2/3 or so of the game. From the looks of things, the Ravens had trouble finishing drives - 5 FGs is fine and all, but TDs are finer. I was impressed with Houston's D - they were flying all over the field and gave Flacco a beating. Looks like Baltimore wore them down late when they got the running game going. Hopefully, they get AJ back soon because at 3-3, they are right in the thick of the playoff race.

I was impressed with how the Texans played, in the past they would have folded after losing Mario & AJ. I was expecting a blowout but they fought hard and even battled back for the lead and only down by 2 at the start of the 4th quarter. In the end, the offense couldn't put anything together and the defense was too tired out to keep Ray Rice contained.

The most encouraging sign is the defense is legit even without Mario. Now if we can only get Andre back because the offense continues to sputter without him. Big game this coming week @ Tenn, may decide the division.

I second this. The Texans defense was very solid over the first 40 minutes or so and probably deserved a better reward for its shorthanded efforts. I remember thinking during the first half that durned old Wade Phillips can coach up a defense.
