Game Thread W6 - New Orleans V Tampa Bay (1 Viewer)

I'm not sure how much worse the Bucs are than the Saints.
Whatever. This is far and away the Bucs' best performance of the season to date. I don't think this represents TB's true level ... but it is the way a cornered team with heart plays after a blowout. Saints are playing their third consecutive on the road ... they can't match the Bucs' intensity.
Doug,Ok.

Would love to know what the Bucs have done to stymie the Saints' WRs 2, 3, and 4. Usually, Brees can spread the ball around a lot better than this.

Very good win. Clearly the Bucs don't deserve to be on the field with the Saints, who should stop mucking it up with us common folk. Still, I'll take it and pray Brees has mercy on all of our souls next time these two teams meet (going for 3 in a row).

Nice game and a big win for the Bucs...see you again in a few weeks in the Dome :boxing:

The Saints have to quit rolling around in the mud with lesser teams. Haven't really seen them quick-throttle a team since the 2009 playoffs.
You mean the team that lost to a horrible Seattle team last year in the playoffs?I'm not sure how much worse the Bucs are than the Saints. New Orleans has no defense.
Now that I have my notebook updated, nothing but respect. But the Bucs don't give the Saints a game if they played right now. That Wk 6 was the Saints' third consecutive on the road. Shouldn't have mattered, but I guess it did. Payton's injury, same thing.

How does this Bucs win look in retrospect? Pretty clear aberration, I would say. Hate to harp on a two-month old game, but this exchange got in my craw ... the Bucs ARE who I thought they were. And they are not in the Saints' league.
