Game Thread W7 - Chicago V Cincinnati (1 Viewer)

As a Bear fan, I don't think I've been this pissed since the 1st half of the Arizona game in the "Crown Their Asses" game.

Sorry - seems like there's been a paucity of Bengal fan comments in this thread. Probably they're like me and can't see the screen for all the :lmao: of joy being shed watching this. LOL at the fishing, though I did ponder exactly when they were going to take Palmer and Benson out. The 45th-point for Palmer seemed appropriate (heck it's STILL earlier than Bellichick woulda done  )

I'm just so overjoyed over this win. This was a clear inflection point. Lose and a very possible 4-5 is starting the team in the face. Winning in this fashion assures nothing...except that this team will be around for the entire hunt for the playoffs.

WHO DEY!

I'd like to think it was because there were a lot of us Bengal FBGs at the game. Wow what a game. I thought the Bengals could handle the Bears, but I didn't think it would be that easy.High point...The Benson TD. It was a long time coming in the game, but he deserved it. Plus I'm a Benson owner.Low point...The TD throug to Hester. I was hoping to hold the Bears without a TD. Plus I'm going against the Hester owner. Hester got 12 or 13 points against me...all in garbage time.

Agree. This wasn't running the score up. They wanted to get the TD to Benson.

It's going to be a fun December...and hopefully an even funner January.WHO DEY!!!!

Glad to see the Bengals turning it around. I told everyone up here before the season started that they would compete for that division, and most thought I was an idiot. oops

Too bad Benson was so terrible before, the Bears could use him. It appears he's turned things around, good for him. It was a bit risky leaving him in the game that late with such a large lead. You never know when an injury can happen..

Congrats Bengals fans

A lot of talk about Benson but what about Palmers flawless play... I think the rust has finally fallen off Palmer.

It was nice to see the full deal with Palmer today. I've been saying that Palmer isn't the passer that he was say circa '05 but that he's twice the quarterback as shown by the game-winning drives he's engineered. What's clear is that he has a ton of confidence in the line and that's allowed him to settle in. That the line is playing this well and that Andre Smith hasn't played a down is pretty amazing. Getting rid of Ghiaciuc seems to have been worth at least 1 or 2 wins all by itself :) -QG
