Game Thread W7 - Cleveland V Washington (1 Viewer)

And they get the 2 point conversion to make it 14-11. After the Redskins had the ball on the 1 a minute ago at 14-3.

Dam..........

This New Orleans kid Horton is playing like a beast this year.
He gets beat in pass coverage now and then like you'd expect from a rookie, but man is he all over the field making plays. The guy is only going to get better and certainly has earned his starting spot.Carlos Rogers had a very good game today, as did Fletcher. And that Portis guy. Cooley looked bad.

Did Anderson call 37 pass plays? I didn't realize he was the O-coordinator too.
No, but it was DA who only completed 14 of those passes. He's a joke, and this loss on on him.
And I could throw the 12 or so passes less than 10 yards that DA missed by 3 yds a pop. Edwards dropped a couple of passes too, and missed a read, but the rest of the offense looked OK. The Browns could have put Shaun Rogers in at QB and got better production.

A couple >< 5.Braylon was awful.

While certainly not great, 19-37 is a hell of alot better than 14-37. Thanks BE!

Give some credit to the Redskins' pass defense. They've done a great and yet unheralded job all year long of disguising and changing coverages to confuse opposing QB's, which is even more impressive because it's been by necessity due to lack of a pass rush from their front four. There's not a QB they've faced who's not put up below average numbers against them, and they've faced before today, in order, Eli, Brees, Warner, Romo, McNabb and Bulger.

I'm not buying it, The Browns had WR's open all over the place, the QB just couldn't put the ball in the same zip code! If you want to give a Redskin some credit, give it to Campbell who played mistake free football against some pretty tight coverage. Portis did what Portis does, but he was contained pretty well until the Brown's defense wore down. The key to the Washington win was Campbell.

This is absolutely true, there were very wide open WRs everwhere today. If you call the source of DA missing easy passes the defense "confusing" him, then DA needs to get his head checked. He missed passes, plain and simple. Edwards dropped plenty as well.Portis and Campbell are studs and what make this Skins team go. If those two keep playing like this they're going to go deep into the post season, and it would be well earned.
