Game Thread W7 - Pittsburgh V Arizona (1 Viewer)

Terrible, terrible spot gives AZ a first then Wells runs for another one. It was a whole yard short, his elbow was on the ground with the ball well short.

Ya Kolb really crapped the bed there, missed a wide open WR that could have ran it into the endzone.

George Halas used to say he could stop any player, but in doing so other players may beat him...too bad no defense ever goes out with the intention of stopping Wallace. Why they don't stick two defenders on him every play like they do guys like Fitzgerald, White and Calvin is a mystery to me.

per rotoworld

Beanie Wells was forced from Sunday's game with a sprained right knee and is uncertain to return. He had 42 yards on 12 carries before the injury. Alfonso Smith and La'Rod Stephens-Howling are now manning the backfield. Wells looked disappointed on the sideline, and may not return. He was escorted to the locker room by trainers. The term "sprained knee" could indicate a variety of ailments, ranging from a sprained ligament to ligament damage. The Cardinals will know more about Wells after tests are taken.

Have I completely lost my mind or should Pittsburgh be running the ball at this point? Roethlisberger is getting killed and they are up 26 to 14. What am I missing?

You are offside and then try to call a time out. ok. :X

Kolb runs backwards when there's no pressure on him, and in that 2 point conversion attempt he throws the ball away? The guy isn't very bright.

Sleeper in the Luck sweepstakes.

I think the Rams with Bradford beats this team.

At least we got Fitz locked long term.

Still think both Indy and Miami win a game as well. It was God's work that Denver won today.

Kolb runs backwards when there's no pressure on him on every single play and in that 2 point conversion attempt he throws the ball away? The guy isn't very bright.
fixed
:goodposting:
He actually does that every week? And the coaches don't get him to stop? Oof.
We have the worst coaching staff in the league...by a good margin. They can't coach up ANYONE. Kolb has a ton to learn, but he won't learn anything from this staff. There is a reason the Steelers didn't want Whisenhunt, the only reason the Cardinals had ANY success is because of Kurt Warner and how amazing he was. He masked the multiple deficiencies of the coaching staff.Tired of washed up Pittsburgh retreads. Players AND coaches.

So glad I didn't go to the game today.
