I took Croskey-Merritt in the 4th round. We start our rookie draft right after the NFL Draft. I wasn't nearly as high on this class any most FFers were, but I found it to be extremely deep. The 3rd and 4th rounds ended up being the best I can remember (at least as far as my board).

I had planned to take JCM at 4.3, but Pat Bryant was still on the board so I sweated it out until my next pick at 4.8. I came across Bill during my draft prep in early April and despite his limited career, he had the look of a quality day-2 RB prospect. What a steal in the 7th round.

I'm glad I paid attention to Big 12's Pro Day and traded back into our draft to scoop him at 6.3. I ain't doing victory laps yet. He's got a long way to go until September. That's camp, preseason games, and then trying to win the job, and if so, keep it throughout the season. But that's okay. It's a lottery ticket. Let's ride!
