Game Thread W8 - Baltimore V New Orleans (1 Viewer)

There were a lot of people on the board last week that had already engraved the Saints on the invitations to the playoffs. This is why I urged them to temper their enthusiasm.

i still don't think there is any reason to fear the other teams in the nfc south. they can fall flat on their faces today but i am not expecting the team to collapse.

I agree, they just came out completely flat like good-but-not-great teams do sometimes. Didn't expect them to do that at home though.

The Ravens, on the other hand, seem to be on track to win the AFC North if they can keep the offense at least at a "good enough" level.

Oops, another letdown by the Ravens' secondary as Colston bounces off a weak tackle effort and scores. 21-point spread now with about 14 minutes to go.

i'm fine with us losing but only as long as the other nfc south teams do too. die falcons! die buccs! die panthers!

The Ravens offense relatively explodes, and the Eagles offense implodes. The NFL is a strange thing sometimes.

I ony saw the first half of this game (family came over during the second half). But the Ravens were blocking and tackling much harder than the Saints in the first half.

They clearly wanted this game more.

I think it's safe to say that, between the Chargers and the Saints, the Chargers ended up with the better passer.

(I mean, Reggie Bush threw a nice spiral and all, but Tomlinson appears to have better accuracy.)
