Game Thread W9 - Cincinnati V Baltimore (1 Viewer)

Henry with a huge catch, wide open, is chased down and is hit near the five... and loses the ball. Review will give the Bengals the ball at the 4-ish.
Big big play in this game if it's overturned, which it should be. Looks like McAllister got caught trying to jump a short route again. Ray Lewis down after the return, too.

Lewis able to walk of under his own power. Reed shaken up as well after returning the non-fumble. Lewis gets a knee to the hip trying to block, and Reed loses his helmet as he flips and lands on his head.

Fumble overturned, 71 yard pass to Henry... pending another review of his run up the sideline. If he stayed in the whole way, 1st and Goal on the 4.

Now BAL is challenging that Chris Henry stepped out of bounds. Not sure if they mean before the catch or after. Probably before, because it looked close on the replay.

That was about the worst possible series of events for Baltimore. Long pass, rushing TD to get within 6, Cinci review overturns the fumble, Baltimore review fails, Reed and Lewis both injured on the play, and it costs them a timeout that they will desperately need if Cinci does score another TD. The only good thing about it was that the review gave Lewis a couple extra minutes to get back into the game, which was a good decision by Billick even if it cost them a timeout - but even then, they gave up a TD and he'll get plenty of time to rest now. Ouch.

Quick Question on the Henry catch for Cincy:

Did Henry lose the fumble? For some reason, Yahoo is showing that Henry has a fumble lost.

Anyone watching the game, can you clarify? Does Henry have a fumble lost or not?

That should be corrected. They took the fumble off the board.3 and out for the Bengals with 7 and change left. Not good when you need 2 scores and the Ravens are burning lotsa clock every time they have the ball.

3 and out now for Balt, only burned a minute that time. Short punt, key possession for the Bengals and they open with a 20 yarder down the middle to Housh.

Graham FG makes it a 6 point game with 4 minutes left. Ravens can win it with a couple of first downs. I don't know if they can keep Palmer out of the end zone one more time.

After a good return, Ravens offense goes nowhere fast and the Bengals get it one more time at the 25 with 3 and a half left. Good game.

Ratbirds with a 2 game lead in the division and the league's 3rd easiest schedule left to play. Bengals with the 3rd most difficult.

Some weird clock management as the Ravens kneel knowing the Bengals can get the ball back with 18 seconds down by 6... don't even try the 38 yarder?

wtf w/the end of that game. What was stupider:

1 - McNair heaving a long ball instead of a FG try (or even sitting on it)

2 - Palmer heaving a long ball into trip coverage instead of a medium pass and try 1 more medium pass for a TD

3 - The guy who picked it off running out of bounds

Course even those paled in comparison to hothead TJ whipping his helmet off to cry and get a penalty. Putz should have been ejected.

lol @ this entire game

well, i got 2 extra pts for the end of the game int, but i would have gotten 3 for the stover fieldgoal, wtf :bag:

I don't care either way, but I just saw the replay of the PI against Housh and it was a TERRIBLE non-call. I would have thrown my helmet too. awful awful non-call.
