I'm going with the upset. Packers are not as good as they have been playing, Favre has some breakdowns indoors, Detroit plays tough at home on some Thanksgivings.

Fantasy wise, I think Calvin Johnson is the player that will most outproduce expectations today.

Thats misleading, when what you should of said was... Favre has had problems beating some GREAT teams in domes(Rams, Cowboys all HoF team, Vikings with the freak Moss and Carter).

This is pure hell for me as a Lions fan. I'm sitting just north of green bay at the inlaws and have to decide between Big Roy or Ryan Grant. As the only Lions fan at the Thanksgiving table I would like nothing more than for the Lions to win. Roy just doesn't get it done every week. Will this be his week? Anyone relying on Detroits Offense today?My gut says bet against my team the Lions and to play Grant. I've played Roy every game this year thru thick and thin (mostly thin). I can't decide...but its going to be a great game.

Thank God I came to my senses and played Grant....

Maybe it's been covered already, but any of you smart football people know why they didn't try to get the ball to Roy across the middle at all today? I was actually at the game and all I saw was him lined up against Harris on the outside. And every play it was like he pretty much knew he wasn't getting the ball so he just went through the motions. They took a couple shots in the second half. I dunno, just seems like he does well when he goes across the middle. Lined up one on one against a good DB on the outside, not sure he's going to just blow by him on the sideline.

The Packers are headed to the SB. They are a more complete team than Dallas (better QB, much better Defense). Right now I think GB is the 2nd best team in the NFL.

So that would mean the Bears are the best team in the NFL since they beat the Packers?

Could have been a lot better. I'm not crying over 100 yds and a TD but when they have 1st and goal inside the 10 4 times and he only gets 1 td, thats not good enough. Favre will continue to throw in those situations until he gets picked in the endzone.While were on Favre, can he PLEASE throw a freaking TD to Driver?? Seriously, I watched him yesterday and he doesn't even look to Driver. His first option is Jennings, 2nd is Lee. Driver is about the 4th or 5th option in the redzone.

In my anger about Roy being targeted so sparingly yesterday in favor of Calvin, I was going to post something suggesting that Kitna/Marinelli/Martz were ordered from up on high by William Clay Ford to showcase the #1 pick on national TV . But I didn't post it because it would have come across as "sour grapes conspiracy theory" on the part of a Williams owner. Then today, I see this:

"The Detroit News reports that sources within the Lion organization said owner William Clay Ford ordered the coaching staff to throw more to Johnson, who had more action than he had all season."

Thanks, Clay Ford, you meddling d-bag....you may have cost me a win.
