Game Thread - Wildcard - Washington V Tampa Bay (1 Viewer)

As long as the Skins play offense like that, the Seahawks will destroy them. They should have hoped to play the Bears.

And the Bucs are robbed from a playoff win again.Congrats to Washington for their stunning 120 yards.Signed,Bitter Tampa fan.

How much will the Seahawks be favored by. TO be honest, as bad as the Skins offense looked, the Seahawks are no dominating team. And Arrington sounds like he is from Provincetown.

The D isn't dominating, but it is still very good. Lots of yards between the 30s, stingy in the RZ. And the offense IS dominating. Seattle's o-line is a step above TBs.

Just saw Tom Brady punching the air. This is gonna be a rough 3 hours for me. Time to move on over to the Patriots thread.Does anyone think I should put a bet on this cgme with Chase Stuart?

Someone please tell me what the #&@! I was thinking picking Tampa Bay over Washington in my office pool?I forgot the cardinal rule of picking close games: when all else fails, pick the better quarterback. :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:

You can see Pittman wipe his face after he slaps Taylor. 99.9% sure it was a spitting incident
I did not see this, and in fact I doubted the call because I didn't see it.

Watch out Seahawks! Here comes Washington!
Watching them play today, without bragging, I'm not very worried. Tampa's O and Seattles O are totally different beasts.
We know about Seattle's offense. We played them in week 3, held them to one of their worst halves of football all season, and handed them their last loss.

As I posted in the other thread:I would like to thank the Bucs for making this a close game. It was much more enjoyable than a blowout would've been. Enjoy your offseason- stay safe, and work hard, and you never know....maybe next year.

Who's the better QB?
Brunell: reasonably competent veteran.Simms: hot-and-cold youngster in his first playoff game.

Edge: Skins.

I chose to ignore this. That Tampa Bay defense just sucked me right in.

Although to be fair, I've never heard of a team putting up 120 yards of total offense and WINNING a game, so I guess I wasn't completely nuts to pick the Bucs.

Will the league suspend Taylor for the next game? What is the official rule on ejections?
I really want to get a more definitive idea about what happened, because I saw two guys jawing, not one guy spitting. Not saying it didn't happen, just that I've seen nothing to substantiate it.

Pittman is a convicted felon on domestic abuse charges. Rammed a Hummer into a vehicle carrying his 2-year old child and its mother. I'd spit in his face too.

 weak
actually, it's a fact
In that case that would make you no better than Michael Pittman or Sean Taylor.
you equate beating a woman with spitting in a grown mans face? someone should spit on you!
Both are disgusting, but since you think spitting on someone is ok, that puts you in the same league as Pittman and Taylor.

Pretty sure Taylor didn't have that in mind when he spit in his face.Taylor is the epitome of class though, I'll give you that. Dude is a SAINT off the field.

:goodposting: Pittman's past had nothing to do with this incident.

As for Taylor, what upsets me about this is that the guy has been great all year - not making stupid mistakes and getting penalized. He's only started trash talking late in the year. This was much more in character for him last year when he was a hot-headed rookie. I thought he'd matured.

I think Seattle will be favored by 5 or 6. And you're right ---- their defense is nowhere near that of Tampa. Or Washington.

Gregg Williams is clearly using the same plastic surgeon as ARod. Sportin' big, thick, purple Kelly LeBrock lips is no way for a man to go through life.
