Looks pretty damn cool. You build a franchise starting with a stadium and then there's a free agency blitz, kind of like an auction might work in a normal fantasy league though I think it may actually be more similar to the free agency mode on a game like Madden or something. You and other real owners in your league make offers to all of the players you want from the pool in the beginning of the year and there are negotiations that take place. Then after that, you have to maintain your franchise as a whole though the scoring is based on real daily stats like a normal fantasy league. It's geared toward the keeper league/dynasty crowd.

$10/team though sales are closed for this yr. Looks VERY interesting and the football version will be opening up in July.

Here are my questions:

1) Who here is playing this?

2) What sort of databae does the 'launch player database' button bring up? (under the front office > players activity tab)

-Just wondering if it is a database from which you can extract data (ie Excel database) and what kind of info might be on there

(they gave me a limited trial acct. so i cant access most features)

If people have more questions, I'm sure I will join the forum there and end up asking this question and would be happy to get answers on anyone's behalf.

There is a league set up with many former BBT guys/current FBGs if you are interested I am sure someone will drop out next year.

Fraid I dont know what BBT is but yeah, they're putting me on a dead team right now so that I can experiment with the site. The overall player database doesnt appear to be downloadable but is the prospects database?I typically build a spreadsheet where I can just superimpose updated stats from Yahoo and automatically calculate new player values for the scoring for my multiple leagues. Just been too lazy this yr.
