Garcon with no RG3 (1 Viewer)

He already has to deal with Haden and now won't have RG3 throwing him the ball. Do the Redskins lean more heavily on Morris or does Garcon get his share of targets, anyway? What sort of numbers are you looking for today?

 
I'm not looking for any numbers. Bench points don't help my team win.

League 1 = Have Garcon benched for VJax, Cobb and TY Hilton.

League 2 = Have Garcon benched for Julio, Tampa Mike Williams and Josh Gordon.

 
I am benching him as well, for either crabtree or Murray (ppr).

I think garçon may still go off, but I was already worried about the matchup before the rg3 news came out.

 
I'm starting him. Cleveland is obviously going to focus on the run and try to force Cousins to prove he can beat them in the air. That coupled with the fact I have confidence in the Shanahans' ability to design some easy first read pass options to help Cousins along leads me to believe Garçon should see at least 6 for 70 or so. Hoping on his run after the catch ability (one of the best in the biz at that) to maybe get him a TD.

 
I just hope this isn't a game where both teams grind and grind and it's 6-3 in the 4th quarter with little to no passing.

 
Was not sure about him or Crab, but choosing Crabtree now (Am I an idiot to like starting a guy in a coinflip situation because he also plays on Sunday Night?)

 
Think he'll get a bunch of dump-off passes and slants designed to let him run after the catch. So his upside goes down, but I don't think his value drops off like it would if he were only a deep threat. Shanny's going to want to take the pressure off of Cousins, and getting the ball out quickly to Garcon in the open field will do that.

 
So Garcon is worried about getting Haden all day long! :thumbup:

I just think it's tough for a new QB in Clev against a very good CB like Haden.

My expectations are lower for Garcon this week. I'm also up against him in one league.

 
Unfortunately, I kinda have to go with him. My other options are Antonio Brown with a banged up ankle, Vernon "I've fallen off the face of the earth" Davis, Greg Jennings who's still recovering from the sports hernia, or Chris Givens who now falls to option 3 now that Danny Amendola is back.

I am going with Garcon over Austin and Britt. I don't trust Austin as he doesn't show up some weeks. Britt has tough matchup against Cromartie. I like what i have seen the past few weeks with Garcon so I hope Cousins can come up big.

 
Playing Garcon at #3WR over S. Johnson & Britt

Just wish one had a good match up but all 3 go against tough CB's

 
Going with Decker instead. I'd rather have Peyton Manning throwing to a #2 WR than a backup rookie QB throwing to a #1 WR.

Which means that Decker will suck and Garcon will go off. :mellow:

 
Debating him vs. the gimpy Nicks. I'm afraid Nicks is going to be a decoy, since he seems unable to get up and fight for jump balls.

 
Garcon is an impossible decision this week. I guess I'm starting him over Shorts III, but I'm not at all confident about it.

I agree completely. Garcon may have a Brandon Marshall-like day in terms of targets. Haden will make it harder for Garcon to convert those targets but I still think Garcon's good for 60 yards and a TD.
 
This game will easily go over 39 judging by past games. Garcon will catch at least one TD to be worth starting.

 
Cousins is a "heady" QB with a nice arm. I expect him to put up decent numbers. May turn it over but who cares if you have Garcon. If you turn it over you usually have to throw it even more.

Roll with Garcon.

Really struggling w/ Garcon vs. Wallace... worried about exactly what you guys are saying, that Garcon will have a bazillion dump offs.
