Quick questions about the war over there. Did Hamas fighters & leadership move with other palestinians to Southern Gaza when Israel announced the North would be entered? Will Israel eventually have to go into the South to achieve its goal of removing Hamas?

I'm sure there are some in the south as well, but from everything I've read, they (and more importantly, the command outposts) are mostly concentrated in Gaza City (in northern Gaza). The tunnel system, which Israel has been trying to destroy since well before this recent war started, more or less spans the whole length of the country. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-67097124
