I know immediately I'm going to disagree with you politically if you choose this.

It's awesome.

Not telling!11111!!!!!!!!!!1111

:lmao:  I'm sorry. It's just so obdurate.

I was in a gender neutral bathroom at Williams college a few weeks ago
I'm in hysterics. How'd it go? Did you survive? What are the Williams kids doing these days?  San Diego now has an omnipresent gender neutral (can we call it GN?) at the airport by the TSA line. I was frightened.

Indeed, that is the word that always immediately comes to mind when I see that - I always think "How obdurate!".

ob·du·rate

ˈäbd(y)ərət/

adjective

stubbornly refusing to change one's opinion or course of action.

synonyms:stubborn, obstinate, intransigent, inflexible, unyielding, unbending, pigheaded, bullheaded, mulish, stiff-necked; More

Cuz, like, being asked to tell your gender and then not telling would be similar to being mulish...

or...

obdurate.

and, yes, I used mulish for a reason.

And not disclosing one's gender on this forum is all that? Okie Dokie.

Considering this board is about 98% male one can guess gender and probably be correct.

it's indicia, which is my point. It's pretty easy to guess one's politics just from that selection. And chances are, I disagree with it, disagree with the approach to it, and just flat ole disagree.

We were moving in my  D a few weeks ago . They sent me out for water to soak her brits filter and that was the closest bathroom. Much better than the standard mens room , I'd be using that all the time in my day.   The majority of the Williams kids helping move the freshmen in were a bunch of swells.

Your daughter is at Williams? That's freaking impressive.  How are you doing with her being at campus?

Whenever I see Rocket post the first word that comes to mind is imbecile.
And we should be cool. I don't think a Romo comment that was meant to be absurd matters. But that's up to you.

Serious question. Why are you obsessed with the gender issue? Seems like you post about it alot. Not judging, just wondering.
True answer: My time at work and at school was actually spent dealing with the gender issue. My formative years were spent in gender studies, and I came out of them with distinct opinions. My best college girlfriend was an ardent feminist: Feminist Majority Foundation officer. That helped shape my views, to say the least.

We assume the reason was to compensate for the lack of substance in your post.

No, it means you're obdurate if you won't state your gender and the substance of the post was that I was laughing about how immediately I know how a political discussion will go with those that don't. There's no lack of substance; there's a lack of comprehension, apparently.
