General Thoughts: Roy Williams DAL S, Julian Peterson SEA LB (1 Viewer)

Just interested in some thoughts or opinions on these 2 vets. Do you feel like they can still bring it at a high level next season, or maybe have started the inevitable decline?

T-I-A

Roy seems destined to follow in the footsteps of Adam Archuleta - poor coverage skills.

Julian is not even 30 until this summer, so he has a couple more produtive years, at least.

Has finished in top 30 each of the last two years, thanks to high big play numbers - sacks mostly.

Due to sacks being such a large component of his numbers, he is subject to volatility in fantasy scoring.

But I have not seen a decline yet.

Completely agree with this.RE: Williams. Nothing wrong with him either. He is what he has always been. Solid run supporter prone to taking terrible angles and missing tackles. Gives up too many big plays in coverage, but makes a few himself. Put him in the box more often than not as they did this year, and, sitting in the nickel or not, he's still a threat for 75 solos. Without a bunch of big plays, though, that gives him only mid-DB2 upside.

thanks for your input guys... pretty much my line of thinking on both players as well, I was just curious to see what some other opinions were

any other thoughts are welcome :D
