So seriously, how far south are they thinking one could see some of the Northern Lights tonight? Seeing them is in my bucket list, and I don't really feel like traveling that far north for any other reason shy of maybe going salmon fishing. It'd be pretty awesome if I could see them from my deck in New Jersey.

We are on the edge, most likely. And that would be for tomorrow night, not tonight. I think the reason the prediction maps haven't really been out is because no one really knows for sure. But if it would happen, it would be tomorrow night. Sorry I can't be more specific. I'm in the same boat you are.
