Heard last night that he had been clinically depressed for years. Not sure if this had anything to do with his passing.

Supposedly he had pneumonia and tracheotomy in 2011 or so IIRC, that sounds like some serious physical problems going back in time. If it deprived him of his ability to sing and perform I'm sure he was depressed. Had he been touring recently or had it been a while?

Hendrix /Joplin 1970 and Morrison / Allman 1971 - died within 390 days of each other.

I'm too young to say that impacted me through. Was aware but at the time I was probably listening to The Archie's.

Heart failure and kidney failure can also lead to fluid retention and weight gain. One of my students with kidney disease gained at least 20 pounds in 10 weeks.

dont judge him by only his wham days. His solo career had some phenomenal works.  And some awesome live covers, like somebody to love with queen. 

Big fan of fastlove. I've always really dug this remix of Spinning The Wheel too.
