Gerald McRath vs. Scott McKillop (1 Viewer)

Who's the better dynasty play?

McKillop should take over the ILB job next to Willis rather shortly since he is playing behind Takeo Spikes. But what about McRath? Some say that he will backup Thornton at SLB. Is that temporary? Anyone think McRath will move over to WLB and replace Bulluck? From what I have read, McRath is too small for the MLB job but is very quick, agile and athletic. If he is too small for MLB, then why would he plays SLB and have to cover 6'5" TE's? Wouldn't it make sense to put him out in space at WLB and allow him to make plays?

So what's the story here as I don't have much interest in a SLB.

I might be missing the boat, and I'm sure one of the experts will correct me if I'm wrong. But I think Tenn plays more of a Right/Left scheme with their LBs, not the WLB/SLB that most teams play. Meaning they'd be looking for the same skillset in both outside LBs. Not to mention I can't remember them having a productive MLB in any recent times, on the other hand Thornton has been an LB2 2 or 3 times in his spot.

Sums it up pretty good.McGrath still has completion from Keglar as well.I'd take McKillop without hesitation

FBG has McGrath with like 20 tackles this season or believe that mini camp talk:

Rotoworld) Gerald McRath is "without question" ready to start this season, according to beat writer Jim Wyatt.

Analysis: David Thornton may be out of a starting job once he returns from shoulder surgery. McRath and free agent signee Will Witherspoon figure to bookend MLB Stephen Tulloch as the Titans go with a youth movement at linebacker this season.

Any insiders on this....

This may help the decision

(Rotoworld) NFL suspended Titans LB Gerald McRath four games for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing drugs. Analysis: A fourth-round pick out of last year, McRath showed starting-caliber ability in extensive rookie season action in place of injured OLBs David Thornton and Keith Bulluck. The ban may prove a big blow to the Titans' defense, as Thornton will probably now be forced back into the starting lineup. He was previously on the roster bubble. McRath is eligible to return in Week 5

haha so awesome. I'd have to dig it up but I'm pretty sure hes the same guy that started talking smack about Brian Cushing to the media after Cush got in trouble. Nice karma there.

:goodposting: Navarro Bowman will be groomed for that spot.McKillop, IMO, is a special teamer and backup at best.
