Have a 10 hour drive to South Carolina with a 3.5 yo and 18 monther. Should be grand.

Last time we got up early for a road trip, the youngest puked up what seemed like a gallon of milk an hour in. CANT WAIT!

Well, the drive will be awful, but at least you'll end up in a flooded wasteland filled with racist hicks. That'll be nice.

No offense to the non-racist non-hicks around who live in SC.

Made it here alive a little over an hour ago. Had to stop twice because the 18 month old puked everywhere. Regreted the 4:00 am leaving when it was super foggy, but now glad we did. Almost hit a random dog wandering the highway at 5:30.

So where in OH did you start this grand journey and what route did you take that it was 10 hours? We live in Fort Mill, SC and drive to Akron or Findlay on a fairly regular basis which is typically a 9-9 1/2 hr road trip. If you're driving from anywhere near Columbus it should only be about 6 1/2 no?

A little bit northwest of Columbus. Basically take 23 all the way down. Could go through Cincinnati and save 10 minutes but it is 70 miles longer. Google maps puts us at a couple minutes under 9 hrs. With stops, I figured I'd round up. It took us 9 and a half hours. We went to the lake keowee area and have nearly an hour drive after getting off 25.

I guess if you get off the beaten path it adds hours quick. We have all freeways to where I go and usually drive like I'm at Daytona. Don't matter how you go, 9-10 hrs in a car blows.
