I'll sleep in, just in case the world is actually not destroyed by God tonight
My kids are too young to drive, fella. If you take turns driving it will be easy
Ta da, I woke up early!I'll still be awake @ 03:30.
And I'm already in South Carolina. Hurry up,
Thanks for this. We are going to the Clemson area which, as far as I know, wasn't impacted much if at all.In all seriousness, I'm not sure which way you are coming but I-95 had a 74 mile stretch that was closed from Florence to Orangeburg.

Made it here alive a little over an hour ago. Had to stop twice because the 18 month old puked everywhere. Regreted the 4:00 am leaving when it was super foggy, but now glad we did. Almost hit a random dog wandering the highway at 5:30.UPDATE?
The closest airport to our destination is like 2 hrs away. Not even sure there are direct flights to it from Columbus.10hrs in the car with two little kids? I'm skeptical...Surely he has. You've heard of airplanes, yes?

My parents have a lake house so we are boating, visiting, doing lake stuff. Funny thing is my parents main home is less than 2 miles from where we live. So, really just a getaway. What are you doing while you're there?
So where in OH did you start this grand journey and what route did you take that it was 10 hours? We live in Fort Mill, SC and drive to Akron or Findlay on a fairly regular basis which is typically a 9-9 1/2 hr road trip. If you're driving from anywhere near Columbus it should only be about 6 1/2 no?Have a 10 hour drive to South Carolina with a 3.5 yo and 18 monther. Should be grand.
A little bit northwest of Columbus. Basically take 23 all the way down. Could go through Cincinnati and save 10 minutes but it is 70 miles longer. Google maps puts us at a couple minutes under 9 hrs. With stops, I figured I'd round up. It took us 9 and a half hours. We went to the lake keowee area and have nearly an hour drive after getting off 25.So where in OH did you start this grand journey and what route did you take that it was 10 hours? I guess if you get off the beaten path it adds hours quick. We have all freeways to where I go and usually drive like I'm at Daytona.
