Quick update. About a month ago, I got a check in the mail for just over $1K. It was from the county prosecutor. Apparently the criminal case over unpaid employees with the Dept of Labor was settled and he shelled out about $8K for 9 ex-employees, and I happened to be one. Came at a nice time.

Haven't seen or heard from him in 6+ months now. Life is moving on.

Two hour deposition rehashing all of the crap for a civil case (suit & counter suit, 4 lawyers of fun) between the crazy dude and the girl that was my supervisor.

Crazy dude was there. At first I was so pissed I was shaking, but then I settled down and said "I can't remember" about 1000 times. Seriously, this stuff was from 2006-2008, how am I supposed to remember dollar amounts and dates and phone calls and emails?

Soul sucking day. I just want to lay down and drink a six pack.

Initial lawsuit was filed by her, way back in like 2010 or 2009 it was a slander and defamation type lawsuit. He is then countersued and they're finally getting around to actually arguing the case.
