They're not taking chances with Engram's crappy blocking. What they HAVE done is have Ellison temporarily block and he slips into a seam pattern for an easy TD. I am surprised we aren't seeing 2 TE packages with Engram or 3 TE packages. Seeing Corey Coleman featured more.

WOW @ that playcall... Let Eli pass the rock there.

EDIT: To me that's a playcall by a coach who is scared his line can't protect Eli long enough for good things to happen.

why is Engram coming out so much?  Is this to bring in a better blocking TE cause the o-line is horrible?  Or is he still not 100%?

Better blockers are coming in. The scary thing for Engram owners is the Giants are playing Scott Simonson in 2 TE packages over him. Simonson is a 4th year TE who can't catch.

Why aren't the players wearing masks? Is it against league rules? Just general stupidity not thinking of it? 

 
These are TERRIBLE breaks by Landon Collins. He went for the INT there when he had no shot at it. He was right with Kittle; let him catch it and tackle him short.

Nice tackle by Haley, this guy is playing for a job right now. Giants have a shot to force a deep FG.

After the Giants missed out on Norwell, they knew they had to get a top flight tackle. They overpaid Solder and everyone knows it; the thing is most thought he'd solidify the left side... after the first 2 games he's been anything but solid. It's exacerbated with the Ereck Flowers situation, the miss on Omameh, and the killer injury to Halapio.

This performance should shame the troops a bit. It's like they're playing Rock Band at midfield. 

 
What kind of relative to a network exec is the producer that keeps hiring these horribly, ####ty halftime acts?  

I think next week is a New Christy Minstrels and a MattyBRaps mashup.

To be fair, what's the offering here? About 45 seconds' worth of airtime, bracketed on either side by 5 minutes of commercials, at a point where half the audience is grabbing another beer or using the bathroom, and half the remaining half won't see it because they started on DVR delay and are using halftime to get caught up?

I don't think you're landing Ed Sheeran with that pitch.

They're trying to be as bland as possible to upset as few people as possible.

well, that's a relief.  

 
It hasn't been stated enough but the Giants missed BADLY on the Alec Ogletree trade. Gettleman's new group did not have the best offseason.

Niners are really just moving the chains with Kittle or Brieda. Yet the Giants seem shocked and totally unprepared every time Kittle or Brieda get the ball.

If you overload the middle of the field that opens up Goodwin. The Giants front 3 are getting worked and the Giants LBs/Collins are really having issues covering Kittle.
