Giants vs Ravens - Week 16 (1 Viewer)

The Ravens might be one of the best teams ever to not make the playoffs, if Miami beats the Bills next week.

In fairness Daniel Jones is not 100% after the hammy issue; that takes away an important weapon from his arsenal. Other than that he hasn't taken the next step as a QB yet.

Graham has really done a great job with this D but right now Giants are losing on the line and in secondary discipline. Graham read them the riot act during the last timeout. Hard to limit this team but worse when you aren't making tackles and having bad discipline on the Cover 3 scheme.

Good hold by the Giants, now to see if Jones can get something going. If I was the coach I'd think about sitting him next week... you can see him limp a bit running side to side.

Giants moving the ball with the short passing game now. Easily the best drive of the game for them, considering they get the ball to start the 2nd a big drive here.

or, OR... a sign Giants have gotten the short end of the stick with the refs more than once.

Yikes, Giants got caught in a 3 man Prevent and Jackson just saw that and ran it 20 yards... relax for one second and they pay for it.

Good half by the Ravens. Left 8 points on the ground, though.

The defense is getting no pressure up front on Jones. I expect Martindale to get after him more in the 2nd half.

Tough half on O for the Giants, couldn't really get anything moving until the 3rd drive. Gonna have to have a lot of 2nd half magic to pull this one out.

I gotta say having Jones line up empty backfield shotgun does him no favors. Ravens are coming after him.

Not sure what that 1st down cross field screen call was about but Jones threw a 30 yards pass just to lose 5 yards.

Ravens D has been uber aggressive, but that's doing too much. Now it set the Ravens up to go after Jones on subsequent downs and of course that's what they did.

That no huddle was a disaster

Jones did well vs the blitz that drive, bogged down when Humphrey injury put Ravens back in zone

Baltimore will once again beat a pretty punchless team without their All Pro RB, a 2nd year QB that seems pretty questionable and in general the Giants have very little to hurt you with.

Ravens have been showcased as having a super soft end of schedule, I assume that means they played harder teams earlier in the season. Don't think the Ravens can last long in the Playoffs but they certainly have the ability to beat almost any team on any Sunday. That sounds cliche and all but honestly you can't say that about most teams in the NFL. Most teams don't really want to draw the Ravens and they are likely to see TEN/Pitt/Buff/Indy, they can beat those teams, they just won't last long against the top AFC team and almost nobody in the field is going to touch the Chiefs next month in the AFCC, won't happen.

... I'm not sure what Jones is supposed to do there when the offensive line went to crap and the coaches are just calling shotgun passes. Giants bailed out by Roughing the kicker, won't matter because they refuse to run the ball and it's going to get Jones killed.

Ravens are literally alternating between Cover 0 and zero blitz. Giants are playing a dangerous game of Russian Roulette because if Jones reads the blitz wrong and the the line whiffs he's going to die on the field.

EDIT: Nice TD pass to Shepard.

Nice 3 and out by the D, let's see if the O can make this game a little interesting.

EDIT: No.
