Warmest Blanket Ever (that you dont plug in) wife got this last week and I was not too pleased that she spent over $100 for a blanket, that was until I spent a night under its soft heavy coating of love it that it provides.

Does she like to cook? There are a ton of gadgets/devices for the kitchen. A year or two ago, I got my wife this thingie from Cuisinart that does paninis, griddle for pancakes, etc. It's awesome and the plates wash easily in the dishwasher.
If you want something nice for a wife, I would suggest experiences more than stuff. I have done a season pass for 2 to the BroadwayUSA that does all of the touring productions. I once did a wardrobe stylist that she loved and still talks about (a woman comes in, says what does or does not work well and then take her shopping for new stuff, etc.). Hiring an interior designer this year to spend 3 hours of helping with layout/colors/etc.

See, in general, I agree...but we have a 6 month old, and we live 4 hours away from our nearest family. I'm sure one of the neighbors would watch him for a night, but she'd be such a wreck not being aroudn him. Last year this would've worked...although...I have been wanting to take her to a Broadway show...that could be an out-and-back in a night type thing since we're in NJ...Hummm...

I've been looking for cooking gadgets. Yes, she does cook...As do I...so we have a decent bit of stuff. I've seen those presses. I think my parents have one actually...I might have to look some more and see what else they have like that.
