Philadelphia Eagles (I am a season ticket holder)

Players to draft:

1. Eagles defense - the Eagles defense should be vastly improved. Stewart Bradley, the MLB who missed all of last year, is back and looks healthy. Brandon Graham at DE looks like he will disrupt thing. Nate Allen, the safety drafted in the second round, and Kurt Coleman, the safety drafted in the 7th round, look better than either of the two safeties they replaced. In addition, the team drafted or traded for 3 other DE's and brought in Sims to play LB. Keenan Clayton, another draft pick, looks like a good coverage LB. This unit should be much, much better.

2. Brent Celek - Celek and Kolb are best buddies, and in the two games they played together last year, Celek had over 100 yards in both and had a TD. Celek continues to get better each season and plays with attitude.

Players I'm not sure about:

1. DeSean Jackson - He should be decent, but I can't expect a repeat of last year. His contract situation has him upset a little bit and he's always a bit of an injury risk.

2. Kevin Kolb - looks good at times and bad at others, the offensive line is a concern. He needs time to be able to throw the ball. Being it his first full year, I expect a lot of highs and lows.

Players to avoid:

1. Jeremy Maclin - has looked terrible in preseason. Not sure he is the player many make him out to be. With Riley Cooper, that will only mean less red zone opportunties. I just can't see him getting a lot of TD's.

2. LeSean McCoy - McCoy to me only has been average so far. On 3rd and short, expect a lot of Mike Bell, Leonard Weaver, and Michael Vick. This will be more committee than anything. Plus Reid likes to pass. I don't expect a lot of TD's. Only average numbers at best. Eagles offensive line not great at run blocking.

Great info and thread idea, but am wondering if it should have been introduced a week or two ago... most drafts are already completed at this point. :lmao:
