They need to move Tirico to the middle or Theisman is gonna beat up Kornheiser. Unless, Kornheiser can confuse Theisman to death.BTW, This is a clinic.
I've been thinking this the whole night. In fact, that should be the half-time show. Jt kicks the crap out of TK. Not that I'm a Theisman fan, but good heavens, Kornheiser is such a whining little tool. He's asking for a AK. Oh well, ESPN ruins everything. In the meantime. Everyone still think Charles Woodson deserved that heisman?Oh yeah, one more thing for the bungalls fans... we dey.
Welcome to 2006Gonna be fun on New years eveWho Dey!!
How was last January's game? Was that fun for ya?How about Marvin's 2-5 record against the Stillers, or maybe Cowher's 12-3 record at Cincy? The Steelers owned the bengals.
FixedCongrats, the steelers and every other team owned the bengals for about 20 years. Once again, welcome to 2006. Typical steelers fan.
You two 6th graders take it outside. The adults are watching the game in here.
Sorry, I thought it was still half-time. Is Greg Jennings doing anything?

Thats funny. I have actually changed my mind about Woodson winning the Heisman. Based on his pay in a preseason game, 9 years later, of course he didn't deserve it.
Well actually, he didn't deserve it. Not because of tonight's game, but still. Come to think of it, that was ESPN's fault too.
Actually, he did deserve it.Best player on the National Champions, shutdown corner on D, explosive punt returner, offensive weapon as well. Manning did not deserve the Heisman over him.
Woodson was the best player in college football that year, and he proved it against Ohio State and in the Rosebowl, which equated to a national championship. Manning was a good qb who showed a penchant for choking, which has equated to his entire career.

Jennings has been getting open and be getting a lot of targets, but he's dropped at least three balls. I hope he figures that out as he seems to have a lot of potential.

The Packers suck but I'm happy to see my WR3 (Driver) getting his stats. Go Donald go!!!!

I'm worried about Farve though *my back-up QB in one league).

Carson's sideline interview was very interesting - talking about how good it felt to throw to TJ and how exciting it is to get the ball into the hands of your playmakers. Chad Johnson not mentioned.

Can someone tell me, Cincy homers perhaps, if it is typical for Henry to lineup on the outside and Housh in the slot when the Bengals go 3 WR (which they did a lot tonight)?

:goodposting: What was Peyton's record against the Gators again?

Yup. That's how they do it. If you recall, TJ first broke through taking over Warrick's old spot as the slot guy in the 3 WR set.

Gonna be a loooooooooooooong autumn up in Green Bay if they don't fix up a LOT. Yikes.

Mother Nature must be a Packer fan and refuses to let this thing go on. Mad thunderstorms coming in.

It's refreshing hearing Favre flamed by the a member of the MNF crew.
I say it's about time. As a non-Packer fan Wisconsin resident, I feel like I'm taking crazy pills everytime people start defending Favre. Now granted, he's done plenty of good things and he's been awesome etc. But give me a break...he gets the benefit of the doubt way too many times.Btw, the game hasn't been called off yet.

Both TJ and Henry can catch the ball over the middle, but TJ is the better route runner, has better hands and is more likely to execute a hot route. And Henry can get deep against man coverage on the outside a little easier if the pass rush holds up.

ON FURTHER REVIEW, WE LOVE TONYThough we don't know whether ESPN's Tony Kornheiser stuck it to Joey Sunshine on Monday night for his 180-degree reversal regarding Terrell Owens, a bought of insomnia had us tuning back in for garbage time of the Packers-Bengals game. In so doing, we witnessed an exchange that, in light of our new mission to persuade the folks in Bristol to relieve Joe Theismann of his duties, has caused us to pull a 180 of our own regarding Kornheiser, who given that he was in Cincinnati will be dubbed "Kornholer" for the remainder of this specific item. After Cincinnati receiver Reggie McNeal caught a touchdown pass from Doug Johnson, a discussion ensued regarding college quarterbacks who become wideouts at the next level. Here is, verbatim, the key portion of the conversation regarding the requirements for a successful conversion. (Thank you, TiVo.)Sunshine: I think you need a guy who's short, vertically challenged, maybe five-foot-nine, five-foot-ten with a lot of 'quicks' that can double as a kick returner. Those are the guys that can transition into professional football. To come in and just try and play the wide receiver position --Kornholer (incredulous): He has to be short?Sunshine: Well --Kornholer: This is a prerequisite, to be short?Sunshine: I think you need to be short and quick. I think that gives you an opportunity --Kornholer: What if you were big and quick?Sunshine: You don't have the 'quicks' when you're that tall.Kornholer: Correct me if I'm wrong because you watch a lot more college football than I did [Editor's note: Tony, you'd make a great lawyer], wasn't there a quarterback recently from Arkansas who was the quarterback who then became a wide receiver in the NFL?Tirico: Matt Jones.Kornholer: Matt Jones, right? And he's big. Big and quick.Sunshine: But not at the kick returning position.Kornholer: (Makes barely audible noise connoting "Is this guy f--king serious?")Sunshine: No. Tirico (changing the subject): It's 48 to 17. . . .Tony, you've found your niche. It's to call out Joey Sunshine wherever and whenever he says something stupid. That's your calling. Your destiny. Through your weekly badgering of Theismann, he'll eventually be exposed for the fraud that he is, or he'll quietly resign and find a fifth-tier gig on CBS where the play-by-play man doesn't have the brains or the will to thoroughly and completely dismantle his stupid-### assertions. So thanks, Tony. We underestimated you. And we're rooting for you to mentally do to Theismann every Monday night that which Lawrence Taylor accomplished only once physically.

That was awesome last night!! Tony called out Joe and it was a thing of beauty. Theismann is a tool.
