Predicting an injury for Edge, or expect Green to unerutilize the RB they paid a lot of $ to?

Reasons for his low ranking:

o One of the worst offensive lines in the league

o there isn't going to be a lot of 2nd half rushing yards/touchdowns for Edge, which is what he really capitalized on last year.

o He will struggle getting touches with Boldin and Fitz to throw too, not to mention Pope and Johnson.

o Misses an average of 3 games per season with injury last 5 years

:lmao: I think you have the 2 reversed.

There is no way the Saints will give Bush enough carries to see 1400 yards. 1K would be a nice 1st season. I also smell a holdout which will hurt his progression.

didnt check the stats but arent the only games edge has missed since coming back from knee surgery are the week 17 games... when the clinched

I'm not so sure about this ranking list......NO WAY Bush makes it up to 7th this year. Drop him to 17th. Bump Jackson, Brown & Caddy up one each.

Bump Edge up to 10th. Drop Rudi, FWP, TJ, Droughns, Davis & Mcgahee one each. Fact is: each of these guys could finish anywhere from 11th to 16th IMO.

Edge will easily be top ten this year. I happen to like both Droughns and McGahee this year, but neither has a better year than Edge, sans injury.

I don't care much for the remainder of the list as any one of them has a chance to finish top 20. McAllister should be top fifteen also. Slip him in at 15 and drop Davis, McGahee and the rest of the bunch down another notch. While you are at it swap spots for the Taylor’s. Fred is not going to have a better year than Chester.

This is a more realistic list......BTW, top three are interchangable IMO.

So let me get this right, your correcting him and then you put a wr @ #18. Good job, let the guy have his rankings. You can't really tell someone their rankings are wrong. I also believe Edge finishes near 15 to 17 this year. It's not that crazy of a thought. Arizona's line is just that bad.

good catch , I'll correct that. I wasn't telling him his rankings were wrong, just giving my opinion. Kind of what I thought he was looking for, although GoCats didn't ask for it. If he did not care what other people thought he would not have posted his rankings.

They aren't just going to sit McAllister. He's going to see 700 yrds at best this year, likely 500. With McAllister healthy he doesn't see the touches you're suggesting. He's going to be eased in. This isn't Shaun Alexander taking hte job from a tired Ricky Watters. McAllister is pretty young all things said.

Jamal Lewis down?

I mean, I realize he had an off year, but he's the starting RB on a team that loves to run. :loco:

I'll be in the minority here that thinks LJ, with and aging line and new coaches, is about 7.
Slider, I fear this as well. I think LJ takes a step back this year, and thus, is modestly overvalued.
