So you're saying it opened cleaner than a healthcare website? I'd still ride it. :YOLO:We have season passes again after a couple year layoff, so we've gotten to watch it being built as we've already been there probably 10 times this year. I don't really want to ride that thing. And supposedly part of it already caught on fire once.![]()
It's also late, I think it was supposed to be done 2 weeks ago originally. I'm a big wuss and I won't ride Raging Bull, Superman, or the Eagle either. Most people will probably enjoy it, but that thing pushes limits farther than I'm willing to go. It does look like a great coaster if you're into that thing though. So you're saying it opened cleaner than a healthcare website? I do love wooden roller coasters. Just something about them. Went on El Toro last year at Six Flags Great Adventure and it was the first time I experienced that high banking twisting on a wooden coaster. It was pretty awesome. So seeing this one, well, it makes me salivate. It's also late, I think it was supposed to be done 2 weeks ago originally. I'm a big wuss and I won't ride Raging Bull, Superman, or the Eagle either. I never got to ride that. I used to have season passes to KI. They built it after I moved away and when I finally made my way back, they closed it down for good. :(I've been on Son of Beast at Kings Island in Ohio, which featured a loop, though said loop was built out of steel, not wood.
Maybe that's part of the ride. Anyone can do a roller coaster, or one that goes upside down. Now you can ride one that's ON FIRE!!!We have season passes again after a couple year layoff, so we've gotten to watch it being built as we've already been there probably 10 times this year. I feel like there are so many more options other than just wood or steel. I'm waiting for a plastic roller coaster. Or a brick one.Wood gives it that extra element of danger, seeing as steel can't catch on fire while you are riding it.
How about one made of Lego blocks.I feel like there are so many more options other than just wood or steel. I'm waiting for a plastic roller coaster. Or a brick one.Wood gives it that extra element of danger, seeing as steel can't catch on fire while you are riding it.
they're doing cool things with holographs these days.I feel like there are so many more options other than just wood or steel. I'm waiting for a plastic roller coaster. Or a brick one.Wood gives it that extra element of danger, seeing as steel can't catch on fire while you are riding it.
Don't forget your blood pressure meds the day you ride that.Link
This thing looks pretty sweet. A wooden roller coaster that goes upside down. Although, I think it's kind of cheating to call it a wooden coaster when it clearly states that it has steel in it.
Still. I want to go to there.
Due to copyright laws, they would have to use the cheap knock offs. It wouldn't end well. How about one made of Lego blocks.I feel like there are so many more options other than just wood or steel. The Beta Blockers should do the trick.Don't forget your blood pressure meds the day you ride that.Link

did we every decide on a consensus chicken noise? Baulk, BaulkI went to Great America on Fathers Day with my family and they were still working on the coaster. I thought it was a few weeks away, there were cranes and guys bolting the wood together. I have no interest in riding that thing, maybe a year or two after all the kinks are worked out.
Well, sure. Not now.Another reason I really don't want to ride this ride: https://www.yahoo.com/travel/six-flags-colossus-roller-coaster-goes-up-in-flames-97061506472.html
This is actually the one in LA, not Goliath. But still, Goliath already caught on fire once too. I'll stick with steel.Well, sure. Not now.Another reason I really don't want to ride this ride: https://www.yahoo.com/travel/six-flags-colossus-roller-coaster-goes-up-in-flames-97061506472.html![]()
But seriously it caught fire while it was closed and they were working on it. I'd still ride that thing.
