This has to be one of the craziest trades of all time. Dodgers take on over a 1/4 of a billion dollars of salary for one really good player, a washed up pitcher, & an OF that we don't know how good he can be not playing for Tampa Bay.

I think I'm going to call the Dodgers and let them know I have a bridge for sale in Brooklyn and see what they offer me.

Who said he isn't a great hitter? And fielder? The fact he is a follower and whiner does not change that.

And again I'll ask why is it important that he be a leader? There is only one position in sports where guys have to be a leader: that's quarterback. I mean do you want a list of all-time baseball greats who weren't leaders? The list is pretty damn long.

Don't see any Sox fans happy gonzos out. Would love to have kept him but he was the price to get rid of beckett and Crawford and get the prospects back they did. Not sure why that's so hard to get.

I enjoy snarky posts just as much as the next guy...but did you read the Borat and Balco posts?

So confused by the A Gone hate. I would think that getting Beckett the f out of there would be the focal point of people's ire, not AGone.

I don't think anyone except Borat hated Gonzalez. I can pretty much assure you very Red Sox fan was tired of Beckett's act and are glad to see him gone.

Where did I say I hated Gonzalez? I think he's a loser, but I don't hate the man.Hell, I didn't even say that people were right to expect him to be a leader. As a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure I said those people were wrong to expect him to be a leader. I was just trying to explain the thought process.
