Good Riddance Packers (1 Viewer)

Maybe the networks will quit playing those ridiculous insurance commercials after they are eliminated today by the Giants!

The Packers are a great team, but I don't think Coughlin gets enough credit in big games. Yes, GB had a lot of drops, but the Giants defense schemed very well today. Nobody thought he had a chance against the 18-0 Patriots either, so this shouldn't come as a surprise.

fans of EVERY SINGLE team have their unbearable moments. I don't like the Pack in the least, but there have far worse over the last 10 years

Because they played terrible and got beat at home of course.
They got out coached and had a non-Packer game with the drops. That doesn't mean they are the worst 15-1 team ever.
And have lost 4 of their last 6 playoff home games, IIRC. Some #1 seed - can't protect their house.
What do those other games have to do with this year's team?

You mean other than the name Green Bay Packers? No idea but I hope we see an answer to that one.

You don't see the Patriots losing at home, do you?

And that has what again to do with this year and the "worst 15-1 team ever"?

 This has potential.

NE Patriots lose at home all the time to the Giants. :pokey:

"Worst 15-1 team" is = "ugliest supermodel" (who doubles as a pron star)...we are nitpicking here...they got beat by a hot team...a team we should have seen coming.

There is an argument that they are the worst 15-1 team ever, as all the other teams that finished 15-1 at least got to the conference championship games before losing. And without looking it up, I can't think of one that was as severely outplayed as the Pack was today.

Agreed...and another thought -Brett Farve has a slight smile on his face tonight!

The 2004 15-1 Steelers got their ### handed to them by the videotapin' Pats in the AFCCG 41-27, and the game wasn't even as close as that 2TD margin would indicate.

See their various defensive rankings and it becomes quite clear they are the worst 15-1 team ever. They got gashed week after week but for most of the season the weather was nice and Rodgers was doing his usual "look great in the regular season" stat padding and the Packer fans kept whistling past the cemetery. Reality is a biotch.

And this game wasn't as close as the scored indicated, either. That's a 17-pt margin of victory in a game where every conceivable big call went the Packers way. Are you kidding?

Let me know when you find where reality is...cause right now all you have is a handful of fishing posts or just being flat out wrong.

Yeah, Giants showed up the Pack up and down, left and right today. Total pwnage.

No excuses today for the Packers.

They were running up scores against teams all season, Rodgers throwing for monster yardage and multiple TD's, and making it look easy.

Now, when it counts the most, Rodgers falls apart and the Packers choke.

Completely inexcusable. Then people wonder why Tom Brady gets all the praise. All he does is win in the playoffs and win superbowls.

What's flat-out wrong here exactly?

All I have to say is that I love my Giants and can make ANY team look good and ANY team look awful. They're the biggest Dr. Jekyll Mr. Hyde team out there and I love them for it. Just hope we keep on rolling!
