Goodbye Mike Sando (1 Viewer)

I didn't see a mention of this anywhere... Apologies if a honda.

The quality of NFL coverage just got noticeably dimmer. One of the better NFL writers around has been sucked in by the abomination that is ESPN. Even if they don't tag most of his content with the "Insider" label, I don't trust them to let him just do his job. What a shame

Sorry. I only searched back seven days. I didn't realize it anything had come out official before that. (Plus that's pretty buried down in that audible thread. I don't know if I would have looked that deep even if that thread had come up in the search.)

I typed in Sando and it was the second thing to come up after yours. There's also a lot of talk about it on his blog page and he answers some concerns about his future coverage of the Seahawks.

Like I said, I limited the search to the last 7 days. The last update on that thread was over 10 days ago, so it didn't show up. I haven't actually read his blog recently either. I just thought it was unfortunate that a good writer was likely to be sucked up and buried by the culture of cross-promotion over content at ESPN and hadn't seen much discussion of it. Sorry to have apparently offended you.
