Casino having been on HBO recently, the sequence when Ginger and Lester debate going to Europe still cracks me up, because Ace is so worried about getting his daughter back, yet the minute they come back, he puts her to bed with a sitter and takes his crazy wife out to dinner so he can wonder how Ginger and Lester spend so much money in just a few days. :lmao:

 
First of all, he's not gonna wear thousand-dollar suits. But let's say he did... which he won't. How you gonna get fitted for twenty-five suits in three days? I mean, how could you get fitted that fast? I can't get fitted that fast, and I pay twice as much.

Even if you bought him a watch, a really nice watch, one that he thought was nice - and he doesn't know what the #### a good watch is - so, you go, five, ten, twelve grand? At the most, which is impossible for him.

I recently saw a "Mobsters" show on the Santoro brothers.

It made me think of the scene in the desert between Ace and Nicky. Aside the anti-Semitic slur, Nicky had a point about Ace not appreciating the protection he was being given. The New York mob, the Boston mob, and Atlantic City all had gigs out in Vegas, and they all wanted to steamroll Rothstein--but it was Nicky and the Chicago crew that kept them at bay.

Lester and the daughter arguing is hilarious as well. Sticking out the toungue and everything.

Agreed. When Ginger finally gets outside, frantic as hell, she has to take a second to yell at Lester and her daughter cause they are still arguing. "She started it!' :lmao:
