Translated from French so I may get some terms wrong.

In triangle ABC, the height from point B cuts AC at D. Also, the height from point C cuts AB at E.

In the triangle, ADE, the height from point D cuts AE at F and the height from point E cuts AD at G.

Demonstrate the equalities: AD x AE = AB x AG = AC x AF

They are supposed to use Thales theorem without numeric values.

Oh #### no.

Well then.

En géométrie , le théorème de Thalès affirme que si A, B et C sont des points sur un cercle où la ligne AC est un diamètre du cercle , puis l'angle ∠ABC est un angle droit

Listen Chet, some of us passed honors classes by copying off our friends.

eta: I'm actually gonna give this the old college try.

The translation sucks donkey balls. I assume what they are trying to say Point D is the point on AC so that BD is perpendicular such that you cut ABC into two right triangles at point D. Then you can use Pythagoras theorem to get relationsjps between each segments. And so on for the other statements.
