Great buy lows for this weekend only. (1 Viewer)

Who are some relatively cheap to acquire guys (maybe even waiver guys) who are likely to have great weekends? I'm in a pickle, as many might be, where we need a win this weekend or we can kiss our playoff hopes goodbye. I've got Rodgers on bye, Finley on bye and just plain sucking anyway, Nicks banged up, J Stew in the worst RBBC situation in the NFL...on and on - but this is more for any team who could need help.

Who can be picked up cheaply in the hopes that they will help pull out a win needed this weekend?

I got Scott Chandler off the waivers, going up against the 28th ranked pass defense Pats...and that's about as far as I've gotten. Any other suggestions for this weekend greatly appreciated!

Gates could be another good buy low option (especially in dynasty). He played last Thursday, so he'll have a full 10 days to get healthy, and is playing against the worst pass defense in the league who's not on bye this weekend.

2 guy's I expect to have a sold chance at a decent day that should be WW or cheap are:

Marcel Reece and Emmanuel Sanders (if PPR Reece even better)

Starting both these guys due to byes and injuries so hope you're right. :)Like the Ronnie Brown call and I'll throw out Daniel Thomas and Joique Bell as well. Mark Ingram's not a bad desperation play either though I worry about the Saints having to abandon the run if the Falcons jump on them quickly.

what's the word on StL's Givens? With Amendola back is he still going to be starting on the outside? Fisher mentioned that he'd like to continue getting him involved & his toe injury seems to be a thing of the past...

Marshawn Lynch has been limited in Wednesday practices all season but did not miss one outright until yesterday.

With a bye looming in Week 11, it's possible the Seahawks give him the week off to recuperate which means Robert Turbin could have value this weekend against one of the worst run defenses in the league in the Jets.

I threw him back. He was barely getting enough looks to be relevant. Was pretty boom bust before amendola was back. With him back I thunk it'll be even dicier. Though I till expect he'll get 1-2 deep balls a game. Fwiw I picked p e sanders instead.

Nice observation.
