Fantastic example from California Pizza Kitchen.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/food/2024/07/23/cpk-mac-and-cheese-deal/74518272007/

They gave a customer who ordered mac and cheese only an order of cheese.

She made a TikTok video that went viral.

California Pizza Kitchen responded by making a video on how to make Mac AND Cheese and offering 50% off the rest of the month on their Mac and Cheese with promo code macANDcheese.

So smart. Will cost them little if anything on the food and the net result is huge win.

I'm more annoyed at this. Girl had to make a tick tock because a company screwed up an order by accident screw that
Are you new to this time in our lives?
"I'm having the worst week of my life. I'm injured, my boyfriend and I broke up, so I ordered mac and cheese from California Pizza Kitchen and they just sent me cheese. … There's no noodles," she said in the video and showed the cheese-filled container. "Are you (expletive) kidding me? I'm gonna cry."
It gets tougher, hun.

meh...Third world problems. Chick-fil-a gave me a chicken sandwich without the chicken.
I once got a sausage egg and cheese sandwich from Arby’s that was just a croissant
We were on roadtrip and stopped at Arby's (I think?) and ordered kids sausage egg and cheese biscuit. Wanted an egg and cheese biscuit (no meat) for me and the wife. Had to repeat that part of the order several times, and guy repeats back egg biscuit? No egg and cheese, just no meat. He says OK, I will tell them to put cheese on it.

We pick up food, drive away. Kids - they get their sausage egg and cheese biscuit. Me and the wife? We get egg. Just folded up scrambled egg. No meat - they got that part right. But no cheese. No biscuit. Just egg

I once went to Arby's at about 5:00 pm to get dinner for the family and ordered (5) regular roast beef sandwiches. They told me they were out of roast beef.

Uh.........what was that?

Yep. Out of roast beef. At a roast beef restaurant. WE DON'T HAVE THE MEATS!!!

The one Dunkin' near us has become a running family joke, because the one and only time we tried to stop there to pick up some doughnuts they were somehow out of them. It was like the middle of the afternoon, too.

"It's right there in the name, how can you be out of donuts!?"

Aren't most donut shops out by afternoon?

I forget what show it was, but someone did a prank of sorts by ordering like a Big Mac or something and then putting in the notes to remove every single ingredient. And they ended up delivering just a box.
Reminds me of a story. I kid you not. Long ago go into forget if it's a chain or local place. I order some type of turkey sandwich. Guy I work with says, I'll have the same but no bacon, no tomato and instead of turkey can you make it tuna.

And LOL. I posted this as I thought it was great to see California PIzza Kitchen turn an error into a win.

I should have known better... ;)

I thought it was a pretty cool story.

Not sure if you ever heard of Raising Cane's, but there story is pretty cool.

Apologies is this isn't the place for this.

she’s gonna make another guy really happy!

Back when my son was younger, he was a very neat eater. Hated it when sauces oozed out of the bun. We went to McDonalds and ordered him a hamburger happy meal; and asked them to "hold the condiments."

When we opened it up, they had given him a bun. No meat, just the bun.

If only you'd had TikTok back then you could be famous!
