The thing about garbage yards is Green Bay rarely gets them. When they get shut down, they get STFD.This is actually a good question. I like Jenning's presence in the offense more than Berrian. It seems as if Chicago has many options to choose from, whereas Jennings and Driver are the main recipients of Favre's passes. I would be VERY surprised to see Berrian maintain that 20+ yard per rec avg over the next couple games. If he were to keep up his current pace, he'd be the better option, I just don't see that happening. He's not getting that many looks, but he's making the best of his opportunities. I think I'd label them 1a and 1b going forth1a Jennings1b BerrianGarbage yards may vault Jennings value a bit higher, but right now they are about as close to equal as you can get. My opinion of course.![]()
Favre fragile? He's started 9000000 straight games. Grossman has yet to play a full season.![]()
correct answer.Keep in mind that Jennings only played in his 4th NFL game last night and already looks like a solid veteran in all facets of the game. Great hands, great route runner and excellent after the catch....he's only going to get better.Berrian is in his 3rd season and still has a pretty one dimensional game as a downfield threat. Solid complementary WR, but don't ever see taking over as a team's #1 WR, whereas I'll be surprised if Jennings doesn't eventually become a team's top receiving threat over the course of the next couple years. For this year, Berrian. For the long haul, Jennings. Jennings has the potential to be a true #1 WR, Berrian doesn's. For now, Driver is the man in GB, and Berrian is hot. In a dynasty league, I prefer Jennings to Berrian.
Jennings. Berrian seems like an all or nothing type of player on a team that would rather run the ball and will have leads in a majority of their games. Jennings has the potential to be very good. Add to it that the Pack will most likely always play from behind.madsklz said:Jennings - 259 yards 2 td'sBerrian - 316 yards 3 td'sBerrian yards and TD's have come from bombs (3 - 40+ yards TD's) but has done nothing in the pastJennings seems now to be a favorite target of Farve's, but he can he keep on going?Who is going to be the better talent?
how can you say that a raight games is the more frafgilguy who sarted 250 straight games is the more fragile guy right now?? lets see grossman start 8 straight games before we say that. plus gonna get real [brrrrr] cold in chitown, with big winds. regardless of the condtions in GB we favre can get the ball there. chicago will go to more running in the cold weather and the numbers will go down for clark, nerrian and grossmanFavre is the more fragile of the 2 QB's right now, so I would go with Berrian.
I said he is the more fragile of the two right now.Favre looked like he was hurting at the end of the game last night.Favre fragile? He's started 9000000 straight games. Grossman has yet to play a full season.![]()
you coul dhave said the same thing about Javon Walker a few years back. The KIND of catches are less important then whether that kind of pass is in the team's gameplan every week. And the deep pass to Berrian certainly appears to be in the team's playbook every week, for at least 4 shots.I think the team is hoping to get the safety to play deep on Berrian, and have ot committ two to that player in order to keep the safety from getting up on the line and stopping the run.My only issue with Berrian is that, and you could say this for other receivers, but it seems if he does get the big one, he doesn't get anything. Take away his 3 bombs, he really hasn't done anything all year

Looked like a shoulder injury or a head injury. Just speculation at this point.

You mean as of Tuesday morning after a Monday night game in relation to a QB who has not missed a game since 1992?
Wanna bet?iMaybe he hurt himself - maybe he could have continued playing if it was not 31-9.
We have heard nothing today, so I am leaning towards option #2. And that Favre will be on the field for the Pack's next game, and for every game this year.
I have more confidence of that than that Grossman will go the next 6 weeks w/o injury.
I'll bet that Favre starts the rest of the year - not Grossman being injured.I am MORE CONFIDENT in Favre contoinuing to start the rest of the year. So, I'll bet on THAT.Wanna bet?iMaybe he hurt himself - maybe he could have continued playing if it was not 31-9.

they have griese nowi think the unknown rodgers factor makes me lean towards berrianwith another week that went by, they put up similar stats. I will say that I did enjoy watching Berrian getting some slants as well as getting bombs.Jennings played a so-so DEF and put up good numbers.I like Berrian being in his third year, with a healthy Grossman. BUT if Grossman goes down (again) we all saw how anemic that the Bears offense was without him. I'm still on the fence on who is the better WR, for this year and next couple
I concur. The prospect of Aaron Rodgers as opposedto the Grossman (Griese insurance) situationmakes me lean towards Berrian.they have griese nowi think the unknown rodgers factor makes me lean towards berrianwith another week that went by, they put up similar stats.
