Yes. With injuries and byes, I have no other options. Here's hoping for 80 and a TDAnybody rolling with Little this week? No Massaquoi, no Benjamin, against a porous NYG secondary. Little has been underwhelming with drops and whatnot, but 10+ targets against a susceptible defense looks enticing as a bye week filler.
I turned down a deal of a 2nd rounder for him earlier this week, but I think it was a fair offer. I'll hold on to him, but I don't have any hope at all for his development.Does he even have any value left in a PPR dynasty? I own him in one and am wondering if I should drop him to cover byes for my def/st and kicker. This guys is terrible.
I traded Dwayne Allen and a 3rd for him, mainly on the chance the Browns draft Geno Smith. It won't matter if he keeps dropping the ball but he's still only 23 and can get better.Does he even have any value left in a PPR dynasty? Well, at this point, Weeden doesn't seem to be the problem in Cleveland so good luck. I'm an owner of him in one league and he will likely sit there until next year. If we have the #1 pick there is no possible justification for passing on Geno to stick with Weeden, he has to find a way to win games despite the issues around him. Good QB's have this trait, he's been dealt 2-7 and told to win with it, which is totally unfair to him, but now he has to make due.Well, at this point, Weeden doesn't seem to be the problem in Cleveland so good luck. I think you're selling Weeden short in lieu of a college kid. I'm not saying Weeden IS the answer or that Geno Isn't, but I don't think geno is such a slam dunk that you can't possibly do anything EXCEPT take him. I think you need to give it some time beyond five weeks to know but Weeden doesn't seem to be what's holding this train back. If the Browns were willing to waste another season and a 1st on a QB, only to start over the following year, then they REALLY should have went the Flynn or RGIII route. If we have the #1 pick there is no possible justification for passing on Geno to stick with Weeden, he has to find a way to win games despite the issues around him. New regime's coming in with no ties to Weeden, last year's mistake will have no bearing on their decision making.Weeden isn't the main problem, he was put into an awful situation and told to win, but he has to figure out a way or else he will be replaced by the next big thing if we end up with the worst overall record. And, yes, Geno has everything necessary to be what Luck and RG3 are looking to be - just need to see if he can handle success and the spotlight.I think you're selling Weeden short in lieu of a college kid. Deep insight.Browns | Greg Little contributes even without a catch Mon, 08 Oct 2012 11:17:55 -0700Cleveland Browns WR Greg Little did some things that head coach Pat Shurmur asked him to do in practice and in the team's Week 5 game to contribute to the team even though Little did not have a catch. 0Tweet Tweet
It's the symbol for Little's hands.I love the subtitle of this thread.
Unless your rosters are very shallow there is no way he should be dropped in a dynasty league.About to drop him in dynasty. Drafted him in the first round. Hate that crap.Anyone think I should be talked out of it? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
Really?I'm sitting on this WR corps: Dez, Crabtree, Decker, D-Moore, Kendall Wright, Andre Roberts & Greg Little. That's 7 guys on my rooster and I don't see how I start Little over any of them at all this season, and my WR's are terrible. In a league that counts return yards, he's WR80 in PPG.I just don't see it getting any better.Unless your rosters are very shallow there is no way he should be dropped in a dynasty league.About to drop him in dynasty. Redraft maybe, but even then I say hold. Dynasty, no way I drop him. Once he learns to catch new gonna be a low wr 1 kind of guy.About to drop him in dynasty. Drafted him in the first round. Hate that crap.Anyone think I should be talked out of it? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
They've been saying that for a year now. Last week he had no competition for catches and got TWO targets. I'm not sure you can teach a guy how to catch a ball at the age of 23. Ugh. I'm just wanting to pick another marginal guy up who I would at least start during the bye weeks.Redraft maybe, but even then I say hold. Dynasty, no way I drop him. Looked like a nice pickup but now he has a sprained foot.I'm holding on for a few more weeks mainly b/c I took DHB, Little, and Titus Young as some high upside guys and none have done anything. I shoudl drop all 3 but I'm waiting for one or two to distance themselves since there isn't enough waiver depth to drop all 3.
That said, Gordon seems to be a boom or bust type but Norwood might quickly grown into the PPR gold we expected Little to be. I think this week will be very telling as far as who to own going forward.
His drops weren't this bad in college so I'm thinking it's mainly mental. He also is a converted WR and only played one year at WR then sat out all of 2010. I'm on the fence with him ever becoming a reliable fantasy receiver, but his upside is too hard to ignore. Worth a stash IMO.They've been saying that for a year now. I recently gave up Dwayne Allen and 3rd for him so he still has some value.About to drop him in dynasty. Drafted him in the first round. Hate that crap.Anyone think I should be talked out of it? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
Welp, that is why I come here. I didn't see that until you mentioned it. This makes little a lot more intriguing assuming Benjamin doesn't play either. Might roll with him in PPR.Looked like a nice pickup but now he has a sprained foot.I'm holding on for a few more weeks mainly b/c I took DHB, Little, and Titus Young as some high upside guys and none have done anything. Yea was waiting for someone to bring Gordon up as I read this... I think (hope) little gets leaped as far as targets go the next few weeks.Just got josh Gordon as a throw away in a "I get his" DMC "he gets my" stafford deal.My gut says Gordon can be gold if weeden and him can connect with the browns playing from behind often.Josh Gordon > Greg Little and all Browns WR/TE
