ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss wonders if the Patriots are more concerned over Rob Gronkowski's (hip) health than that of Aaron Hernandez's (ankle).
Reiss added that Gronkowski "has been dealing with significant pain these last two weeks." Gronk has shown up on the injury report the past couple of weeks with a hip ailment and has missed a few practices, but nobody has been overly concerned about it. The tight end had his snaps scaled back last week against the Bills, taking one series off in each half. Gronkowski is in no danger of missing Week 5, but it's something to keep an eye on. It's fair to wonder that when Hernandez returns, if Gronkowski could be given an even lighter load until his hip discomfort subsides.
