Grossman will bounce back strongly this week (1 Viewer)

OK I'm in the mood for a little controversy. I know many of you are drunk on the Grossman hatorade out there BUT this guy didn't play that badly against the Chargers in week one considering he had no help on the offense whatsoever. Berrian was responsible for not being in the right spot and resulted in an interception and the 2 fumbles by Benson and Peterson killed key drives on offense for the Bears.

I still think surprisingly Grossman did well under the circumstances. Other poster have said that LT had better passing yardage than Grossman but didn't he do better than Rivers as well? Grossman wasn't the turnover machine many of you predicted him to be now was he?

If some off you take off the blinders and look at the BIG PICTURE you'd see the Bears play KC, Dallas and Detroit in their next three games and these teams pass D's are as about stout as butter melting in your mouth. The rest of the season looks very favorable as well.

If Grossman is on waivers and more than likely he is, I'd grab him now. I still think he is capable of putting up QB one numbers before all is said and done.

You have been warned!

Imperious REX!

Grossman is a true live by the sword die by the sword candidate.....I would not want to play against good defenses...but he could throw up excellent stats againts bad defenses.

So, he'll be a borderline low-end starter, or he'd be the best player to bench every week?

And I'm supposed to worry about "missing out"?

When top 15 is a QB's upside, I'm done with him. Period.

Ok I'll go on the record and say top 10 is his upside here. So to answer your question he's a solid starter from this point out.

A "solid starter" is a QB who could possibly reach the bottom half of FF starters?Yippee. Color me unexcited.

I'm just saying this guy is vastly undervalued right now. If anything grab him and trade him later when his value is much higher and it will go much higher. :goodposting:

Bears homer and Rex owner in a 2 starting QB league...and I am still stuck between him and Leinart.

I do think that people are going way overboard with the Grossman hate but so be it. That's their opinion and they are entitled to it. I know Rex can go off and probably will this week which is why I am leaning towards him. The Chiefs look terrible and that's not just a week 1 observation. At the same time its tough to ignore the weapons that Leinart has.

Maybe I will start both and sit Brady because who knows how good he does without the camera feed.

And I'm just saying outside Naperville, nobody's really going to jump at the chance to trade for QB10, especially if he's named Rex Grossman. The name alone is going to decrease his perceived value. So, unless you're struggling insanely at QB, he's really not worth a second look.

And you don't think someone will eventually struggle at QB? Especially with a few QBs already injured in week one already?
