Haden to Shadow DeSean (1 Viewer)

DeSean moves down and Maclin moves up, clearly. But how much? Would it make you change either from a sit to a start or vice versa? What about the other Eagles?

For me, it confirmed sitting him for Wayne. I was waffling - but that news made it easy.

Debating between DJax and Blackmon because of this. Blackmon will be covered by Cook and Winfield who aren't terrible either, but Haden...

Good move.Hayden has looked like a BEAST in preseason. The only WR to give him any sort of trouble has been AJ Green who has 5 inches on him and the plays that Green 'beat' Joe with were receptions that literally would have been incompletions within a fraction of an inch. Hayden is bigger and stronger than Jackson.I think he's going to really frustrate him Sunday and DeSean tends to get flustered as a game goes on.

Jordy made Haden look silly in their preseason match.I don't think Djax and Haden have ever faced off against each other, it'll be interesting to see how this turns out.To the dude that said they're starting Wayne instead, he is drawing Tillman who's no slouch himself. I agree with your choice though.Maclin by default draws a 33 year old Sheldon Brown. I think Maclin is going to have one hell of a day.

Even if Haden wasn't goin to blanket him all game I was thinking of sitting him just base on his BS antics last year quitting on plays and his team etc etc. I know all indications are that this year will be different bc he got his shiny new contract but he is a kid with a bad attitude and I would not be surprised if he coasts on his fat new contract this year. Unfortunately I'm saddled with him in a dynasty league so I hope I'm wrong. But I think having been burned by him so badly last year I'll see if he is a change man tomorrow while he is on my bench. I'm cautiously hopeful...

It only takes one play for Desean to have a good game. Haden did look to good against Jordy and I'm pretty sure Desean is faster then he is. I'm starting him without question.

Biggest significance for me? After Haden locks up desean, he gets Ladarius webb and Ed Reed in week 2. Could make for a nice buy low opportunity.

My thoughts exactly. I like DeSean to have a good spring-back year, but he does have some tough matchups, especially if the Cowboys' secondary is as improved as it looked against the Giants.

The only cornerback I factor into my start/sit is Darrelle Revis. Even then, I only sit guys if they are borderline starts anyway.

If Desean is a big part of your team, I wouldn't bench him.

The way Claiborne looked against Nicks the other night, he may well be on this list pretty quickly. And I don't think it was all because Nicks was less than 100%.
Pretty impressive. They went after Claiborne early, and he was in lock-step with Nicks the whole way. Didn't exactly shut him down, but Nicks had NOWHERE to run after the catch. Not bad for a game against the super bowl champs on opening night.

It wasn't, I was watched several replays and Nicks wasn't able to gain separation in situations where he usually does. I can't wait until DAL gets some more games under their belt so we can compile some stats.

Haden is stronger on the line and almost as fast. Haden can really torture his opponent off the snap and jackson isn't the strongest mentally. Jackson isn't exactly a fantasy lineup mainstay, is mentally weak and doesn't respond well to CB's that play Haden's style. And Haden is one of the few guys I drop his opponent a tad when projecting. haden is also playing knowing his season won't be that long due to lingering suspension and will have a little boost in his step. Jackson is no more than a flex guy to me this week.

If Haden plays DJax bump and run and he misses and has no safety help, that will end with DJax doing some goofy move before he crosses the goal line.I have DJax in 2 leagues and will start him with confidence

You can bump Jackson with one hand. The guy has very little ability to avoid a bump and often times he slows his intensity in the route when he receives a good one.
