I think Peyton's intention was to say goodbye to McGuire and Patrick as Theisman will be continuing on with ESPN and Monday Night football. Not sure there was a snub at all.

Watching Peyton closely examine the coin for the coin flip before the game started was much funnier. Even has he called heads or tails, he had this serious look on his face as if his entire career was riding on that call.

IIRC he didn't even look to see what tails looked like.
