By being WAY better. Sharpe was the Calvin Johnson of the 90s. Sharpe shouldn't have had to wait anywhere near this long. He was the only guy in Rice's league from 89-94.

Sterling Sharpe doesn't have that neck injury, I think he's universally considered the 2nd best WR of all-time. He was at his peak and had just gotten Brett Favre. Had a 105-1285-15 average in Favre's 1st 3 seasons, and that was growing pains Favre, not MVP Favre.

We're all thirsty, but have some self respect. Sheesh.


On a serious note - I wonder if us diehards stopped watching this trash then we can get rid of this whole preseason nonsense. Have some two team practices and treat it like a game so coaches get to see players in "live action" before they get cut, and start the season every year on September 1st.

I didn't really see the replay but did he interfere or just have position? It was the same kid who had the previous pick. He is looking like a really good rookie addition for LAC. And he did it against Teslaa who also looks pretty good.
