hasselbeck injury (1 Viewer)

I guess it's time to take advantage of the Hass owner. I was trying to get Portis from HER for R.Brown & filler in a dynasty league. Maybe she will bite now if I thorw in Favre.

Well at least SA owners won't have to worry about them not giving him a full load when he gets back.

If he misses a few games or more, what can we expect from Seat passing game? Is Wallace going to be able to connect with Jackson, Branch, etc.
That's just selfish... how dare you lambast the fate and health of a NFler... you need to be banned from F'Guys....

A few random thoughts on Wallace...

* Freakish athlete. Very fast and elusive. Flashed a bit of it on a run late in the game up the middle. Dude is super fast. No starter in the NFL compares but Vick. No, probably doesn't run as well as Vick. When he was at Iowa State it was his legs that garnered Heisman attention. They considered having him return punts, but because he's the second best QB on the team they fought off the urge to pull the trigger.

* He has a stronger arm than Hasselbeck. Potential to throw missles all over the field. Quesion is his accuracy. His first interception today was a poorly thrown ball behind the receiver that was batted up in the air.

* He's been trained to keep his eyes downfield. First instinct now is to pass, not take off. He had a chance to bolt up the middle of the field once today, but stepped forward and was sacked from behind because he still wanted to throw the ball.

I was at the game. The injury looked bad. He did walk to the locker room on his own, but prior to that, he was surrounded by about a dozen members of the training staff for half an hour. I also heard MCL on the radio on the way home, and 4-6 weeks. Wallace looked horrible, but maybe if he actually had some work with the starters it would be better. He was out of sync, misreading defenses, missing routes, and just looked confused. On the plus side, he did bounce quite a few passes off of his receivers' hands.

Seattle's done.

Without starter reps he came in and completed almost 60 percent of his passes 56%, and led his team to a couple of scores. Backups not named Charlie Batch or Frank Reich usually don't come in and do really well. With a week or reps I think he can be a QB 15 type of guy especially if he uses his legs.

Rotoworld is reporting knee sprain and Hasselbeck will miss a couple of weeks.

IMO, it's still too early and we'll need to wait for the MRI to know what's really up.

Yep - means nothing until we get the official MRI results - either way I would think Hass owners would be in the market for another QB as best case is out 3-4 weeks during this critical time in the season.Anyone know what time the coaches press conference is? Hopefully we'll get some info by then - if its more than one day for results that usually means a second opinion is needed which is not good in most situations.
