Taking Gore is safe. The knee isn't as big of an issue for me as is the woeful Jacksonville offense. I happen to think MJD will outperform Gore, but that is the fun of the game. Nobody really knows.

Rice? Jones-Drew? Gore? All those guys are already on teams. None are eligible for the 2011 NFL Draft. At best, they would be unsigned free agents, but actually, they're already under contract.Also, the picks haven't been determined yet. Not sure how you know the NFL team you're the general manager for will end up with the 4th pick already, the season hasn't even started yet.

I anticipate potentially having the same decision to make with the # 7 pick in my league. Rice will go 3, and the guy with the 4 pick will take Rodgers. The guy with the 5 pick likes Andre, and the guy at # 6 may very well take Brees. I had already decided to take Gore over Turner in this spot, and now, less than a week before my Labor Day draft, I now all of a sudden have to consider MJD. Or, more correctly stated, MJD with a suspect knee--already---before the season has even started
