Have to drop 3........Who should they be? (1 Viewer)

12 team keeper league, full point PPR....... 6 pts/TD, 5 bonus pts for 100rd rushing or receiving.  We start qb, 2rb, 2wr, 1te, 1 flex, 1k, 1d

Team roster is only 16 players, but had a few extra picks in the draft and I am currently sitting with 19 players, so I need to drop 3 by next Tuesday.

Current Roster:

QB - Wentz, Prescott

RB - Mixon, Kerryon, Carson, Penny, Montgomery, Ito Smith

WR - Thomas, Evans, Jefferies, Robbie Anderson, Samuel, Allison, Cobb

TE - Howard, Burton

The players I am considering dropping are Burton, Smith, Cobb.  However, knowing Freeman's injury history for the last 2 years, I really hate to give up Smith.

My WRs are the strongest part of my team, so I think I can afford to give up some of the depth, I might be able to get away with giving up Cobb and Allison (or Samuel) with Burton.

On the flip side, if I give up Burton, I'm left with Howard, who also has an injury history, the next best TE is Gesicki, who is someone I don't want. So that would lead me to drop Smith, Cobb, and Allison (or Samuel)

Thoughts?  Who should I drop....

Which Samuel?  Curtis or Deebo?

How many players do you keep from year to year?  Depending on that I wouldn't have a problem dropping Dak.  You generally don't need two QB's if you have a solid QB1 like Wentz.  However, if your league hords QB's so they are not on the waiver wire then maybe you need to keep Dak.  It's why I asked how many players you keep year to year.

I would drop Dak, Cobb, & Ito Smith

(I am also assuming that Jefferies is actually Alshon Jeffery......if not I would drop this Jefferies guy)

we must keep 1 QB, 2RB, 2WR and either 1 TE, K or D for a total of 6 players......QBs are the highest scoring position in our league.....6 pts per TD throwing or rushing, 1 pt for every 10 yds passing, and 5 points for throwing over 300 or rushing over 100.  QBs typically score 600 pts a year.....just to give you an example.....Mahones scored 865 pts last year, McCaffrey scored 442 pts.

And yeah, it's Alshon and Curtis

Doesn't really matter that the QB's are the highest scoring players because that means all QB's are in that situation so the relative value of QB to QB doesn't change.  You still can only start one of them.  I stand by my advice.....drop Dak, Ito, and Cobb
