Have you ever taken a 2nd QB simply to screw those without one? (1 Viewer)

Our league has a "Starters First" drafting rule to prevent this.

Agree with cstu here. The idea of owning a team is to run it how you see fit. As long as an owner participates and does not collude with another owner, it is the variety of owners that makes a league fun. I don't want a league where every owner thinks like me.

My 12 team league went loco with drafting two QBs early, before I knew it 15 were gone. I ended up with Alex Smith as my starter. Yikes. Go Niners!!
Actually if you are going to go QBBC Alex Smith isn't that bad a QB to have. If you are a subscriber you should check out Chase Stuart's QBBC Start 1 article. Pretty good stuff. And reason #2574 to be a member. Nice work Chase(I think he writes the article every year or has for several).
We will see if it is any good - in one leauge I drafted his suggested qbbc (even in the same rounds!) (12 team, ppr, redraft)
I read that article awhile back and forgot about it. I just picked up another of the trio, and am offering Schaub for the third member right now. I don't really mind if it doesn't go through, because the one I am trading for is the least used of the three.

I'll do it if the value + chance to screw another team or two is too good to pass up. I usually don't have to, because there's one guy in my league who always waits a long time on QB's and a number of other owners usually make him pay for it. He ended up with a Grossman-McNair-Huard three-headed monster this year.
