HBO Hard Knocks 2023 - Miami Dolphins to be featured on HBO's 'Hard Knocks In Season' (1 Viewer)

I know most are already down on Hackett...but man, to me, there is something a little off about him. You can sense why he couldn't lead a football team.

Agreed. He's odd for sure. And its really strange that Rodgers keeps trying to hype him up. He's like the cool kid at school with the weird cousin trying to make sure he's not bullied when he's not around.
Not all great coordinators are cut out to be HC's. I imagine his weird schtick doesn't play well with everyone. No surprise it works with AR. He's different too.

I am watching the development of that O Line very closely to determine just how in on Garrett Wilson I might be.

Because if Rodgers is under duress, and unhappy, I’m out at the price I’m seeing. But if his protection is solid and he isn’t bitching at his guys up front, I’ll probably overpay in an upcoming auction to get him.

3 questions from me after watching…. None really having to do with football.

How did that mentalist/magician perform his tricks? I was scratching my head on most.

Have you ever seen anything more awkward and uncomfortable than that rookie hazing performance? It made me uncomfortable.

Does Saleh really have to curse so much? I work in industrial sales and there’s plenty of cursing but watching him feels like his curse words are almost forced into his speeches.

Apparently the Bucs had 6 sacks in 10 Rodgers drop backs today. Doesn’t seem good.

I feel this way watchinng nearly every coach on Hard Knocks. Just throwing in F Bombs for no reason at all. Guess its just the culture of football but man it makes an otherwise very well spoken guy look like a total mook.

…and yikes.

If this doesn’t demonstrably turn around, I’m thinking they will resort to very low passing volume, suffocating Wilson’s ceiling.

It does seem very unnatural when he does it - almost like he’s trying to be Rex Ryan or something.

And Woody Johnson should really just stay off camera. He’s not doing anything except cementing the image of him being clueless.

No matter what he said before things got started, you know that an attention wh*re like Rodgers was going to love every minute of the show.

And although it's understandable, I am absolutely disgusted by how much everyone (especially the coaches) is swinging on his j*ck.

Intriguing the near universal hate on Aaron Rodgers and before him, Tom Brady, by so many of the hardcores.

"Everybody going to get pissed off at that. The whole team was pissed off, you know what I'm saying?" Ward said, via ESPN. "It's preseason and all that stuff and you're going to do some reaction like that?
"It's cool, though. That's how they roll. I think we play them soon, it is what it is."

Would it have been different if the NYG defense actually played guys that WOULD NOT get cut.
